Sea World Parks and Entertainment announced today that it will rebrand its existing Aquatica waterpark in San Diego into its second Sesame Street themed amusement park. A causualty of the transition will be the Hoo Roo Run slide complex. In its place will be a new amphitheater.

The park will feature rides for the first time including a new Super Grover themed rollercoaster. A copy of the Sesame Street Neighborhood found in Sesame Place Philadelphia and Sea World Orlando will be built as well. This announcement ends speculation for where the next Sesame Place park will be built.
