VAUGHAN, ON (April 7, 2026) –– Canada’s Wonderland, the country’s premier amusement park, today unveiled what’s new for the 2026 season, launching May 3. Highlights include the transformation of Flight Deck into The DareDeviler, along with a full slate of events and entertainment – featuring the return of Brew & BBQ in June, and three new live shows spanning cirque, acrobatics and musical performance. The park’s flagship candy shop has also undergone renovation to offer an expanded and elevated confectionery experience with a new assortment of handcrafted treats.

Canada’s Wonderland opens for the season May 8

VAUGHAN, ON (April 10, 2025) – Canada’s Wonderland opens to the public on May 8, kicking off four seasons of fun featuring world-class thrills, a full lineup of exciting events and entertainment for guests of all ages.

The park’s new record-breaking roller coaster AlpenFury is anticipated to open late spring and will feature a double-launch, with one propelling riders into Wonder Mountain, and another that blasts the train out the summit, 50 metres into the sky. The coaster will span 1,000 metres across the park, reaching speeds of 115 km/h, flipping and twisting through nine breathtaking inversions – the most of any launch coaster in the world.

Highlights of the 2024 season at Canada’s Wonderland include new giant boomerang water slide and expanded event dates

VAUGHAN, ON (April 3, 2024) – Canada’s Wonderland opens in one month on May 3 and today it released the full lineup of exciting events and entertainment for the 2024 season, including additional dates for its fireworks show on the Canada Day long weekend, a new, exclusive SickKids’ Day fundraising event and an additional weekend for Oktoberfest this fall. 

The park is also introducing a new giant boomerang water slide called Moosehorn Falls. When Splash Works opens May 25, guests will have a chance to climb aboard this new raft adventure and travel down a rushing river cascade of twists, turns and drops before being propelled to the summit of a zero-gravity, 13-metre wall.

New this year, the immersive holiday event has been extended with select dates through January 6 and features interactive attractions like Cookie Decorating with Mrs. Claus, lively musical sing-a-longs, skating on Snow Flake Lake, more than 20 WinterFest rides and so much more.
