Universal Orlando announced that it intends to open a fourth theme park as part of its Florida resort. Universal’s Epic Universe will be built upon 750 acres of land that are located a couple minute drive from the rest of the resort.

“Our vision for Epic Universe is historic,” said Tom Williams, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Universal Parks & Resorts.  “It will build on everything we have done and become the most immersive and innovative theme park we have ever created.  It is an investment in our business, our industry, our team members and our community.”

Little other information was made available at this time, but the park did provide a concept rendering seemingly showing 4 different sections of the park, a roller coaster, central hub area, and large hotel.
