Kennywood has announced a new kids area themed to Thomas the Tank Engine that is coming in 2018. With the expansion will come 4 new rides, a new show and a retheme of the Kennywood Railroad.

Rocky Mountain Construction will transform the former Mean Streak into its tallest, longest, wildest project to date. Steel Vengeance will feature a 200 foot drop and four inversions. It claims to be the world’s first hyper-hybrid coaster.
Sea World Orlando has announced a new Intamin White Water Rapids ride for 2018. This ride will have a unique vertical lift as well as a 40 foot drop. The ride will feature 14 rafts holding 8 riders each.
Casino Pier will be opening a new Gerstlauer Eurofighter this summer. The ride will feature a 97 degree first drop and three inversions along its 1,050 foot course. The ride will use two trains.
The $6 million coaster will have a track length of 2,256 feet, a lift height of 82 feet, a top speed of 48.5 mph and 11 moments of air time.
