We visit the National Roller Coaster Museum

In this update, as part of ACE South Central's West Texas Roundup event, we got a special tour of the National Roller Coaster Museum and Archives in Plainview, Texas.

The, still in development, museum has had a long journey to get where it is at, and we must say the future of the museum looks bright! Ground has been broken on an expansion of the museum after which the facility should be ready to open to the public.

The collection that has been accumulated so far is incredibly impressive and comes from all corners of the amusement industry. We are sure that if you are a fan of our site, that most certainly a visit to this museum will bring back past memories. For us, it was quite special to see the trains of several past roller coasters from Cedar Point. This includes my personal first roller coaster: Disaster Transport.

Thanks for ACE, the NRCMA board and Larson International for providing this opportunity.
