The first time we visited Heide Park, Colossos was standing but not operating. When we heard the ride was back open again, we found a way to return this park to experience what has been revered by many as one of the world's best wooden coasters.
We were not disappointed. Colossus is the park's best rollercoaster and one of the standouts in Germany. Note the ride is pretty heavily trimmed though which takes away some of the intensity this ride may have once had, but replaces it with extra smoothness and reridability.

For those that do not know, Colossos is an Intamin Wooden Coaster assembled from prefabiricated track pieces similar to El Toro and Balder.
