In this photo update, we share photos from the opening of Siren's Curse - America's first (and the world's second) tilt coaster. Manufactured by Vekoma, this attraction distinguished itself with a unique tilt track perched atop a lift hill. The train will come to a full stop in the horizontal position and then be rotated 90* leaving riders staring straight down for a few seconds while the track repositions and reconnects. It's a very unique experience. The new attraction is located between Valravn and the train station in a place formerly occupied by the Cedars dorms.

It's worth noting that the construction of the attraction ate into the existing Marina parking lot, so there is now a new one nearby.

The ride's lighting is largely consisting of lift hill lights and what is on the train. And that's pretty great!
