We participated in the park's annual Phoenix Phall Phunfest coaster enthusiast event which featured morning ERT on Impulse and Twister as well as evening ERT on the Scary Oldies and Phoenix. In between, the park offered other perks including food and snacks. While it was a busy Saturday afternoon, the visit was one of my favorite of the year. I don't see it as the best, but it is very very good and extremely re-rideable.

Without a doubt the classic buzz bar restraints and PTC cars play in to the ride's popularity.

Without a doubt, but Knoebels on your list of places to visit next year. If you visit once, I think I'd still recommend early in the season when it just opens. If you visit twice though, come back for Phall Phunfest. Only negative is it does get busy during the day and thus there also are no wristbands. Thanks to the park for an epic event!
