What would you do to go to Western Playland
Western Playland Trip Report Photos Taken: 07/03/2019 Posted: 08/23/2019Such is the slogan of Western Playland. We visited this park very close to the Mexico border in southern New Mexico. What we found was the old Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Hurricane coaster, a Galaxi, and an impressive collection of flat rides. These rides are all oriented around a distinctively empty center section of the park that we can't help but wonder if the park is saving for some larger expansion.
We were overall impressed with the park and recommend a visit. We hope to see the park invest in more permanent rides in the future.
