Hello from a very cold, windy and wet opening day at Cedar Point.
We're back with another Opening Day update from Cedar Point. This year the park is opening two major attractions. Top Thrill 2 has undergone improvements with the hope to get it open consistently this season and later in the season Siren's Curse, a Vekoma Tilt Coaster will open. In addition to these larger attractions, the park made several quality of life improvements in the offseason with the biggest being a reimagining of the Happy Friar fresh cut fries stand.

We arrived during early entry. The park once again offers three separate gates for different classes of tickets with the Prestige pass entrance to the far right.

The first thing you'll notice is that the 150th anniversary sign has been replaced with a new more evergreen one.

The Fastlane redemption center to the right of the gate is now Accessibility Services. Fear not, you can get you redeem your wristband at the one-stop redemption center across the way or at most gift shops.

These new sign boards we first saw at Kings Island last year are up all over the park and functional.
Jack Aldrich Theatre - Cedar Point

The trend of opening new bars across Six Flags properties continues. Several additional new stands have been built around the park including this one by Raptor.
