Universal Horror Unleashed Trip Report Photos Taken: 10/10/2025 Posted: 11/06/2025In this photo update, we share our experience from visiting the brand new Universal Horror Unleashed experience in Las Vegas. Situated in Area 15 by the Meow Wolf Attraction, Horror Unleashed features four haunted houses themed to Universal IP with space for a fifth to keep the place fresh. The entire attraction is built in a soundstage style building with a central hub area featuring several bars, a restaurant, gift shop and entertainment space.

So what are our overall impressions. We purposefully didn't spoil the mazes and can say they are pretty well done. Honestly I thought the content and length was on par with what you'd find in a Halloween Horror Nights event at a Universal Studios theme park, but the level of polish was not there. The houses were ran inconsistently sometimes with too many and sometimes to few people. The actors weren't always as engaged with the sound effects not always syncing with the action. The bones are there though to make this a compelling attraction. It's just a bit too high priced for what it is. Still hopeful for how this place will evolve. Thanks for reading!
