We visit a volcano themed amusement park
Vulcania Trip Report Photos Taken: 08/22/2022 Posted: 03/05/2024In the middle of France there is a combination theme park and museum located in a region that is home to now dormant volcanos. The park features exhibits, simulators, rides and movies. What drew us to the attraction was a brand new Intamin family launched coaster. We had only limited time, but managed to experience the newest attraction at the park. Follow along as we share our experiences riding Namazu.

So this is fascinating. There is a preshow that is not manned. Guests travel through a gate that counts how many people have gone in. The number of people that can still enter is listed above.

The preshow itself is pretty impressive featuring a floor that shakes halfway through allowing guests to experience an earthquake.
