Busch Gardens Williamsburg Trip Report Photos Taken: 01/01/2022 Posted: 01/03/2022In this photo update, we take you around Busch Gardens Williamsburg on New Year's Day. The Christmas Town seasonal event was still going on, which meant there were some special show offerings, the Christmas Town Express, Nacht Tower and of course lots and lots of lights.
As a bonus, during the middle of the day, we noticed that Pantheon was running test cycles as the park prepares for the ride's opening in March. Luckily we were able to take a bunch of photos of the ride traversing its circuit. The ride looks great, and we can't wait to experience it later this year.

The park was supposed to have a skating show, but both time slots got cancelled last minute. Wonder if the 70 degree temperature outside had something to do with it?

A general observation - hopefully just supply chain issues, but the merchandise found in a lot of the shops has been trending from being unique to the region of the park to random, out of place generic SEAS merchandise. Guy Harvey, Salt Life, Simply Southern and Sesame Street have invaded several shops in this park.
