We ride the world's sweetest coaster

Hersheypark Photos Taken: 07/07/2020 Posted: 07/19/2020

In this photo update, we visit Hersheypark to check out their newest expansion: Chocolatetown.

The new section expands the park such that it now presses right up against the Hershey's Chocolate World attraction. The expansion includes a brand new park entrance area as well as new gift shops, a new Starbucks, a new HyperDeck VR experience and of course a brand new B&M hyper coaster.

The Chocolatetown area is still under construction and thus some portions will not open for 2020 including the new sit-down restaurant and ice cream shop. The primary attraction Candymonium, however, is open. This attraction is the second rollercoaster over 200 feet at the park (the first was Skyrush). The ride is a blast and is sure to be a winner for the park.

Follow along in this update as we provide more commentary about the largest expansion in Hersheypark's history.

Thanks to the park for inviting us out to check this all out for ourselves!
