On our first visit to Sylvan Beach Amusement Park in upstate New York, we made a grave error. We skipped riding the nostalgic Laffland dark ride. It did not disappoint with its charm. If you haven't been to Sylvan Beach, it is worth a visit to travel back in time and see what a traditional amusement park looked like.
