Aztlán Parque Urbano Trip Report Photos Taken: 07/02/2025 Posted: 07/06/2025While in Mexico City, we made a quick stop to the brand new Atzlan Parque Urbano theme park located in Chapultepec Forest. This park opened in 2024 on the former site of La Feria de Chapultepec which had several operational issues.
The park has been completely redone with all new rides and attractions. Follow along as we take around this theme park.

Dr. Simi is a mascot for a local pharmacy chain. He sponsors a ride at Six Flags Mexico as well.

He is featured in the final pre-show video that loops at least 3 or 4 times ahead of boarding.

The only photo I got of the ride vehicle itself. The vehicle rotates clockwise into the theater. No-one loads while the film is taking place best I can tell.

The film itself was all CGI and not custom to the park. The projections were weak. You flew over world landmarks, but not any in Mexico. The ride system seemed fine, but the audio was low making the sounds of the fans kicking in very noticeable. The bones are here. The ride could certainly be improved in the future.
