We experience Merlin's Mayhem

Dutch Wonderland Photos Taken: 09/08/2019 Posted: 01/22/2020

This photo update cover our return to Dutch Wonderland. The primary motivation was to check out Merlin's Mayhem, a brand-new S&S family suspended coaster that opened at the end of 2018.

Merlin's Mayhem was excellent for what it was designed to be. Dutch Wonderland as a whole impressed us once again. The park is so well taken care of and has a truly unique and complete collection of rides and attractions.

We're very happy to see the park step up as one of hosts of ACE's CoasterCon event this year. We can't wait to return.

Two of the best rides in the park are on the island. The gondola cruise is one of them.

Merlin's Mayhem actually goes through a small tunnel towards the end of its course.

The ride is great fun and a logical addition to the park.

The way the sky ride goes through Merlin's Mayhem reminds me of Adventureland, Iowa.
