Checking out Turtle Reef

We visited SeaWorld San Antonio on Memorial Day weekend to check out their new attractions for 2019. These attractions are the Turtle Reef aquarium as well as the Riptide Rescue and Sea Swinger flat rides.

While we were visiting, SeaWorld was celebrating Park to Planet weekend. The park welcomed three special guests: Jack Hanna, Guy Harvey and Chris Fischer whom we sought out to meet.

We couldn't help but notice new land clearing and construction starting across the path from the new Turtle Reef area. The rumor is that a new wooden coaster is coming to the park in 2020. It sure looks like it given the number of footers being prepared!

The park was also celebrating its final week of the Seven Seas Food Festival. Food stands featuring delicacies form across the world were scattered across the park.

We look forward to returning to visit SeaWorld San Antonio soon to check out the 2020 attraction!

This is an example of some of the food festival stands. This was right at park opening, so that's the reason it was closed.

Turtle Reef is very nicely done. Sadly, it is also very small. It is only one outdoor viewing window. Much smaller than the Orlando and San Diego versions...

This is all of Turtle Reef... sadly. Very nice, but also very hard to get to the one window.
