Cedar Point introduces The Boardwalk
Cedar Point Preview Photos Taken: 05/04/2023 Posted: 05/04/2023In this photo update, we share photos from our first visit to Cedar Point's newest themed area: The Boardwalk.
Taking over the plot of land previously occupied by Wicked Twister and the Oceana Stadium is now a new collection of family geared attractions anchored by Cedar Point's Grand Pavilion, a two story restaurant and bar and the brand new Wild Mouse coaster. In addition to these new attractions, the Matterhorn and Atomic Scrambler have been relocated to The Boardwalk from the main midway.
There's plenty more new at Cedar Point this year, which we'll cover in a subsequent update posted this upcoming weekend. This includes the return of Frontier Inn in Frontier Town, two new bar offerings in the form of Bar 1870 in the former Señor Vargas location and Engine Company Spirits taking over the Wagon Wheel Pizza location. Also, a new Frontier Craft Co. shop opens on the Frontier Trail combining the experiences of making your own hand-dipped candles with wood carving.
Follow along as we provide an in-depth view of The Boardwalk. Cedar Point opens to all this Saturday May 6th.
