Cedar Point

Maverick is a steel rollercoaster designed by Werner Stengel and manufactured by Intamin in 2007. Maverick replaced White Water Landing at the back of Frontier Town.

The roller coaster contains two LIM launch segments. A total of six trains can operate at a time. Maverick contains a maximum height of 105 feet, a maximum drop of 100 feet and a top speed of 70 miles per hour over the course of 4,450 feet of track.

Maverick contains a "beyond vertical" 95 degree drop. The ride received the accolade of Best New Ride in 2017 by Amusement Today and is still considered to be one of the best roller coasters in the world.
