Santa Claus, Ind.<\/strong> \u2014 Holiday World & Splashin\u2019 Safari\u2019s nighttime drone and fireworks spectacular, Holidays in the Sky<\/a>, returns brighter than ever for the 2025 season. This year, 500 synchronized drones\u2014a few carrying pyrotechnics\u2014will light up the night for an even more unforgettable experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holidays in the Sky is scheduled to fly nightly from Saturday, June 21, through Sunday, August 3, for a total of 44 nights. The show features two thrilling pyrotechnic moments: a lightning strike targeting a haunted house, and a rocket-shaped drone formation that erupts with fireworks to simulate a real rocket launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe keep finding new ways to make Holidays in the Sky more impressive,\u201d said Lauren Crosby, Director of Events & Entertainment. \u201cThe new pyrotechnic elements are taking the show to the next level\u2013you truly have to see it to believe it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s Thanksgiving section of the show features a new parody song, \u201cPour Some Gravy on Me.\u201d Performed by Happy New Month Band from Evansville Indiana, the song features cleverly rewritten words to the classic \u201cPour Some Sugar on Me,\u201d by Def Leppard. While the show will feature a short clip of the song, a full music video<\/a> is available on Holiday World\u2019s YouTube channel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat we do best at Holiday World is downright silliness,\u201d says Leah Koch-Blumhardt, Director of Communications. \u201cHappy New Month is full of such great talent and energy, and they served up a perfect performance, complete with ridiculous moments you just have to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
